A large grade ‘A’ listed two storey garden flat required the upgrading of an existing bathroom that had separate WC and Bathroom sited in an outhouse extension that was very cold.

The internal brick partitions were demolished and the roof and external walls were insulated. A new bathroom/shower room was installed with large walk-in shower, double WHB, wall mounted WC and bath. Travertine marble wall and floor tiles and underfloor heating.

An existing listed wine cellar was renovated to form a new en-suite shower room. The remit was to keep the stone wine bottle storage shelves and also install a modern shower room. The construction of a new structural opening to the bedroom was required and the infilling of an existing doorway.

Drainage had to be installed below the existing concrete floor and connected to the main drainage run which was located in the Hallway. A new wall mounted WC was installed and the concealed cistern was located in the adjoining storage room. A new walk-in shower was installed and the stone storage shelves were retained with lacquered oak timber finishes to form modern storage without compromising the listed element. Ceramic tiles were fitted to the walls and floors with underfloor heating.
