This project required the removal of existing timber accommodation on a 3 storey semi-detached house in the Trinity area of Edinburgh with outstanding views down the River Forth. The construction type was very unusual and complicated for a residential building involving materials more in common with high quality commercial works including curved structural steel column supports, curved structural roof glass, copper roof sheeting, lead wall panels, balcony with stainless steel balustrade, glass blocks, sliding doors to balcony, curved beech raised floor and steps.

The Client had requested that the roof design should reflect the wings of an aeroplane which resulted in a stunning curved roof.

Features of this project were included in the Scotsman Newspaper and also the Architects magazine.
